About
Giclee Printing:
Giclee (pronounced: jhee-clay) is a phrase that refers to a technology
brought forth by a printing machine called the Iris. High quality, Somerset
Velvet 330 gsm weight paper is carefully attached to a spinning drum while infinitely
small pixels of rich, vibrant archival inks are sprayed at a very high speed.
This renders an amazingly smooth and consistent image, a Museum Quality Fine Art
Print. The giclee process provides better color accuracy and permanency than other
means of reproduction, which results in a wide acceptance of Giclees by collectors,
museums, and art galleries worldwide.
